I wanted to do baby dance video cause I think they are just so cute and so cool.
I thought about making baby rap video or street dance remix. But in the end, i choose baby dance.
For the patch, it basically is just using the keyboard controlling the video pieces. There are 37 videos in total, 29 baby dance video and 8 baby talk video. And Arrows for four songs.
There was a lag issue I couldn’t fix it, otherwise the project will be much better.
Good work, but yea, all that video material will bog down the patcher. It’s impressive you got so much footage to use.
A shame they had to mute the sound, but was it a public video or unlisted? Re-uploading as unlisted might evade the copyright claims.
Babys are just awesome. It’d be great to see the footage more in categories (Dancing, funny faces and whatever else you have)! Great job!
So a bit on a side note – I have the exact same desktop and the exact same monitor as my main one. Cool.
Back to the project – this was really well done, a further development could be pitch, speed and some video effects with game controllers. However, this was really cool to watch – must have taken a while to get all of the footage together though.

I like the way you set up the videos to respond to the keys. It is simple and transitions well. (I may stealing the idea to help with one of my projects!)
I liked your project, it is one of the few that actually fit the theme/project goals. I know you mentioned in class that that the videos seemed delayed, but from what I saw and can see in the video, the response is pretty fast! As suggested before your could try to put all of the clips into one file and skip to the needed frame or try a different format. Keep up the good work!
