I don’t know what you’re planning to do with the final textures, but I like how the environment here is really plain and grey with splashes of bright color, like those blue parts on the cubes. The wooden exterior definitely contrasts with the clean, industrial interior, which I think works well with your story.
I agree with Charlie, I think you should definitely keep the insides simple. I know you mentioned blood spatter, so I definitely suggest you just throw some nice metallic mats with blood spattered textures and you’ll have a sweet level goin.
Your level looks great so far, one thing that I have noticed is that the light source for the bottom picture looks like it is above the light bulb itself. If possible, use shadows for the light source.
I think you have a great level and it would be pretty fun to play with. For the environment, it should be easy to texture since those are pretty base geometries, so I would suggest to focus on the boss character and make it the key object of the level.
I know that when you presented the flickering lights were not intentional, but I would totally implement that into your final project. If you’re going for that creepy vibe, the flickering lights will enhance the scene a good amount.
